- I am a plein-air and studio landscape painter working in the tradition of the California Impressionists, Hudson River School, and Craftsman styles. I describe myself as a tonal colorist, and I am very much interested in atmosphere, graced by lyrical shapes and movement. I hold a BFA from the California College of the Arts and an MFA from the San Francisco Academy of Art in traditional painting. A professional artist for over 25 years, I've been collected the world over, shown in a wide variety of venues, won numerous awards, and continue to participate in many juried paintouts and competitions.
